WeddingNegafox's Den is owned and maintained by Terence J. Lindsey (Negafox). The site originally opened late 1996 as an assignment for a computer programming class at Cibola High School. Initially, it was an anime website that covered Dragonball, Final Fantasy and Sailor Moon. On February 1999, the website was changed to a technical support website, and later into a personal homepage. May 1999, Blizzard Entertainment honored me with becoming a forum MVP. Unfortunately, a year and a half later Blizzard Entertainment closed their MVP program due to legal reasons. Two years later, Blizzard Entertainment decided to bring back the MVP program, and I resumed my position as a technical suppport forum MVP. In May 2000, the Dinobot.org domain was purchased and became the URL for the site. September the website was renamed to Dinobot's Citadel and became more of a general news website covering everything. From December 2000-January 2001, Hasbro Inc. slapped Dinobot's Citadel with a cease and desist order claiming trademark infringement. Fortunately, they stopped pressuring the closure of the website after they were bought out by another company due to financial difficulty. In July 2001, the website became an anime fansite.

Due to the time constraints of work and that the "Dinobot" alias was taken on various games, websites, etc. I changed my Internet alias to "Negafox." May 2002, I changed the domain name to "Negafox.com," the website name was changed to "Negafox's Den," and redesigned the website based upon my own personal interests. I worked at a college in southern Arizona for two years including holding the title of Webmaster designing layouts, and writing web scripts and applications.

Currently, I am employed as an Associate Software Engineer at Blizzard Entertainment in Irvine, California. I reside in Laguna Niguel with my wife, Heidi, my two cats, Java and Milo, and our future daughter, Zefie.

Q&A
Q. Were you a forum MVP for Blizzard Entertainment?
A. Yes, I was. Originally, I was an MVP along with The Helper and t'kron (deceased) in the Battle.net forums from May 1999 to August 2000. Due to legal reasons, Blizzard Entertainment closed the MVP program, "Blizzard Tech Support" forum, and ceased to provide any form of technical support through their forums. Eventually, Blizzard Entertainment opened a new technical support forum recently renamed "Technical Support." In December 2002, Blizzard Entertainment resurrected the defunct MVP program which now encompasses both the Battle.net and World of Warcraft forums.

However, I resigned my MVP title in February 2005 due to a conflict of interest with my current job. It was an honor to hold the prestigious MVP title for nearly six years, but all things must come to an end. It was a pleasure to carry the title, and help people in the Battle.net forums and through e-mail for such a length of time.

Q. Can I ask you questions about your position or the company you work for?
A. Unfortunately, no. Do not bother to ask as I will not answer.

Q. What are you like in person?
A. I am an intellectual who can be quite goofy and sarcastic at times. I act differently depending on the person I am around. I tend to act serious to most, but show my humorous side to those I am comfortable around. I like to spend my free time in book stores and libraries reading computer books and studying various theories (such as about astronomy). People tend to rely on me to resolve their problems quite often -- whether it is computer-related or personal problems. I enjoy playing video games, especially Blizzard Entertainment software. My attitude is generally serious or humorous at times, and I do not get angry at people. Even though I am reserved, I have a lot of energy so I rarely get exhausted. Overall, I am easygoing person who is difficult to insult or offend.

Q. Can I steal your pictures and/or content from your site?
A. Feel free to steal whatever you want. I am against the "don't steal my pictures that I stole from somebody else" concept. When you think about it, it is hypocritical since most content is borrowed in some shape or form from other sources. Those who desire to use images from this website, please store them on another server. Direct-linking is disabled on the server since there have been problems with direct-linkers consuming bandwidth. Please do not ever direct-link without permission since bandwidth costs money.

Q. What was the deal with Hasbro and the Dinobot alias?
A. Yes, I used to go by the alias, Dinobot, from late 1998 to early 2002. In December 2000, I received a letter from Hasbro's lawyers that my ownership of Dinobot.org was a trademark infringement. At one point, Hasbro's lawyers called me on the phone to threaten legal action if I do not hand over Dinobot.org. Fortunately, Hasbro went bankrupt and got bought out--the dice rolled in my favor. After January 2001, they backed off, and never heard from them again. In May 2002, I changed the domain to Negafox.com, so somebody else now owns the previous domain.

Contrary to rumors, changing my alias had little to do with Hasbro. Hasbro backed off nearly one and a half years before I quit using Dinobot.org. The decision to cease using the Dinobot alias and domain was because the alias was taken for most websites, and games. Why have an alias everybody else grabs up? So, I chose a new alias, Negafox, that is completely untaken.

On Febuary 21, 2002, I changed my alias from "Dinobot" to "Negafox." I hereby call all rights, copyrights, and tradmarks on "Negafox." Therefore, if any companies use "Negafox" in any future commercial products, television shows, movies, etc, they are infringing upon my rights.
